Hello, I have a 175cc scooter and want to install a pair of slightly longer shocks on the rear.....OR find the same size shock which has more suspension travel. Nobody seems to list shock compatability sizes. What, you just throw down your $$ and hope the shock is an improvement over your stock shock?! How do you know it won't be crap, crush down with no rebound control, etc.? Gas shocks are just harder, aren't they - who needs harder? I want more travel and an improved ride height! HELP if you hae any ideas!

Put the scoot on it's center stand and unbolt the shocks at the bottom. Does your tire drop much? I know mine doesn't drop more than 1\4" or so. Try to find shocks of the same length with adjustable springs.
