Has any one upgraded their shock? I saw scrappy dog has one. IS their any thing to be gain as far as ride quality? is there any thing to be gained as far as handling?

I know if you take corner fast enough you can bottom out, or at least I have but, in order to prevent that don't you have to have a stiffer spring thusly sacrificing ride quality?

Yes, they seem to handle curves much better without the "porpoising" that makes tight, fast cornering a little hairy. However, you will get a much stiffer ride and your butt becomes a shock absorber. Everything is a tradeoff.
