After getting my thermostat all under control.. I have been riding the piss outta my bike. I noticed when I parked it the other day a large (7 inch circle) of oil had been created under my bike. I know it is coming from the CVT side of the bike because I filled the oil back up..washed it. took it for a long 20 mile spin and when i came back i could see the oil on the outside of the CVT casing between the CVT and the breather box. I cant really tell where it is coming from?? Does anyone have any ideas of what might be on that side that would leak? Under the bike it NO oil... just down the side... the oil fill side-- is clean as a whistle as well... maybe a diagram of where all it could be on that side? of course anything helps and i will take pics of any suggested areas... THANKS josh

Ours do that too. It's caused by too much oil in the engine and crankcase pressure blowing it out the vent, into the airbox and out that drain. Mine only does it on long rides. Try riding a little less spiritedly and see if that helps.

riding a little less spiritedly?? what does that mean?? like less? or not as fast? or long? or all the above? and is there a way to prevent it? because when i checked oil after i noticed first time... there was nothing on dip-stick... so i added... i dont wanna have to keep adding every week for it just to blow out lol

If it's that bad it could be rings, I don't go over 60 mph at all. At worst the head gasket has blown out somewhere and is pressurizing the crankcase through the cam chain tunnel. How is the compression?

I don't have anything to read compression... but it runs great! I mean there is a little ticking but it gets up to speed fine.. great off the line.. great on top speed

You may be interested in the thread on my Fashion in which I touch on a lot of tech issues. On page three I go over the airbox and it's oil vapor recovery system.

Take the Valve Cover Vent hose coming off your Valve Cover Put a Fuel Filter on the end of it and tie it higher than the Valve cover. Make it nice and straight no kinks. Usually what causes oil to be spit out is at high rpms and you had overfilled the crankcase with oil. Once this happens and if the Vent hose was connected to the Air Box the foam inside gets soaked with oil and now the motor can no longer vent to relieve the pressure so it blows out the extra oil.
If you have an OPEN CONNECTOR on the AIR BOX PLUG it up that is causing EXTRA AIR to be sucked in and effects the Fuel Delivery. Alleyoop

What Alleyoop said. I forgot about reading about that before.
Also, if you wanted to buy one of the solutions from Scrappydog then you could let them know (email them) what scooter you have, and they would probably be able to help you.
Anyway try the fuel filter suggestion.

I will give it a try... now there are two different holes--- one with the rubber slip nipple (directly above red CVT label in pic above) and the one i called "mystery nub" in above pic.. which are we talkin about?
