Hi guys im jesus i just joined ur site and cant wait to learn from the years of experience on this site. My scoot is a 2006 Diamo tracer 150 gsx. It was given to me free of charge by my lil sis. Needed a carb and battery and started right up. The odometer reads 714 miles and judging by the condition of the valves and piston i believe it to be true. So far ive stripped the body off for a full color change..was black/red/silver..i am painting all panels flat black..i purchased a new 24mm carb and a ncy intake manifold (red rubber). I made a custom cold air intake out of a piece of exhaust tubing and a small section of the original intake hose. Shes running very lean now and i am gonna try to move to needle before i buy any jet upgrades. Future plans include a 180cc bbk, exhaust, cdi/coil (ncy of course) variator and clutch upgrade.Let me know what u guys think..i will post more pics when i reduce the size of them.they are too large to upload and after i throw the body back on..oh yeah i also lowered it one inch in front..painted front shocks black and replaced some screws and bolts with stainless steel ones.

I love that naked look, DON'T put the plastic back on! ;D Welcome from N Carolina! Can't wait to see after you're all done! As far as Bashan goes, I'm beginning to think that for him, the less plastic you have on a scoot the better it is!!! Oh, wait, so do I... Don't put the plastic back on!!! LOL

a friend and i were also diggin the naked..."rukus" look...after all the time im putting into painting the panels it would be a shame not to use them..ive heard flat black scuffs easy so maybe after a year of riding it i might strip it down and try the naked look

Well if they break down a lot and you do not have a trailer. Not a good thing if it rains and your out on the road, all the wires and connectors getting wet, hot motor and cold water... Not my scoots full dress only
Magoo - we all know how the Chino wire connectors and wiring is... No way
