I have a Kinetic Milano 50 cc 2 stroke scooter I purchased which had been sitting in the garage pretty much ever since it was new. Right off the bat, I replaced the Micarb carburetor and jet and gas filters. Tried 3 jet sizes (88, 90 & 95). I cleaned the gas and oil tanks. Checked the auto fuel valve and fuel lines. I also replaced the air filter.
My current problem is after I have adjusted the jet and idle to an optimum level, I can ride the scooter for 15-20 miles without problems, and then it will start bogging down. If I apply the choke when this starts happening, it will usually recover and run for a bit longer before it repeats the bogging.
I try to adjust the auto mixture to make sure the air/fuel mix is fine, and any adjustment either way affects performance. I have also checked for leaks and cannot find any. The only thing I can think of is it might be a blown head gasket.
Any clues what causes this to bog? Why would the choke make such a difference after so many miles of riding?

Crap in the carburetor. Either clean it or put in Seafoam.

What I think is your jets are to big, jets that size are for 50s that you have put on a 72-83cc bbk on them with a free flow exhaust and maybe a free flow filter. So I think you are over jetted the carb and should go down to a 75 main. Alleyoop
