Well he said it before and he was right. The root of almost all evils on the Sunny Roadrunner 300 MCD300-TKB reverse trike is the flipping motor mount. I've got just over 800 miles on mine now and these "death shakes" on deceleration have been getting progressively worse recently. So I plunged into denial and figured it must be "the alignment", or "the front suspension's loose again", or "the tire pressure's off". Denial. Pure and simple. I finally had the presence of mind to check for rear wheel "wag" while she was up on the center stand the other day and sure enough, she's waggin' like hell. 800 miles. And to add another kick in my but('cause I'm usually good at keepin' an eye on these things) the rear tire is just about bald only in the center tread. Oh sure, you can call it cheap Chinese tires, but if the tail's a waggin' it's gonna tear up tires. And someone correct me if I'm wrong but I got to thinkin' about that wag and why it only happens at lower speeds and then it dawned on me...the faster you go, the faster that rear wheel spins. And what happens when a wheel spins fast? It becomes a gyroscope and resists "the wag". Then as soon as you slow down to a certain speed(just under 25 mph) no more gyro and all bets are off. Daddue found this out the hard way months ago and is still trying to get his trike back on the road. Wish there was a way to make Sunny accountable for this obvious blunder of engineering. Oh yeah, I thought I came up with a great idea to fix this. Since this trike is obviously cloned from the Yamaha Morphous/Majesty I looked into buying a motor mount for one of those scooters(you never hear anyone with one of those scooters having these issues. Well, as you might have guessed, the mount is totally different on them . So now I'm looking for urethane press in bushings to hopefully fix this thing once and for all.(You think new bushings will bring my fuel gauge back to life? Or fix the sticking clutch? LOL! It'll never end!)

Well on an Ice Bear Magnum When the rear motor bushing fail it creates a jumping rough slow take off at the movement jerks right up the rear chain. Was hard to figure out the cause until the, looked like rubber was gone that the sleeve would chatter on the bolts. I reached down at an idle and raised the rear of the motor and quite... Well, if you know the make of the motor save some time and money and google for parts. The Ice Bear Magnum 300cc motor is a Linhai so google Linhai motor parts give them the bolt size and dia and wide

new2Scootin , I'll get the motor mount put in this weekend if at all possible , If after several hundred miles and it stays the same then I'll be able to get them made for whomever needs them...You might have to get them pressed in by a shop. the material is race proven on the oval dirt tracks and under 20.00 a set. Sorry I've been tied up this summer , I'll get to it as soon as possible.
