super new here.. picked up a little Chinese bike for 300 bucks and the speedo is always double what you are actually doing.. so going down the road it reads 110... my Odo is also running fast (I believe).. we will find out when I gas up and think I got 120 MPG.. any known cause of this?

there should be a cable running from your front tire to the gauge cluster. Whenever the tire rotates it turns the cable and that turns something(gears?) in the gauge cluster. then that moves the speedo needle up and also work the odo. I am unsure of hwto fix this. But your odometer is inaccurate for the same reason as the speedo. I hear that these gauges are usually inaccurate but double! That's crazy. Are u sure it is notin kph? I haven't seen a speedo go up to 110 in mph

Yes, that is quite a lot to be off normally just about all the speedos at high rpms are off around 20% on the high side of what it registers. Well 110 KPH is 68mph so take about 20% off that and in mph your about right on 55mph for a fast 150. Most cannot do 55mph they do 50 or little over 50mph. My speedo the outside numbers are in KPH and inside numbers are MPH but the MPH numbers are small and cannot see them So I got decal paper numbered them from 0-7 and stuck them on the outside glass. I'm sure you're right about the KPH, that would make total sense. To check the Odometer measure a mile landmark with your car and see if the Ode reads 1.6 or 1 when you get there.
