My wife want an after market exhaust on her scoot ,if i put one on for her what else we i have to do to it for it to run correctly?

What does she expect from a aftermarket exhaust?
They are louder because most are straight through with with no baffles to quiet them down. If that is all your putting on you really do not need anything else. As far as performance It won't gain you anything noticeable.

If it does lean out then you can just change the MAIN JET 2 sizes from what is in there. But you may even be able to just richen up the Fuel Ratio Mixture if it leans out. Does she ride it at WIDE OPEN THROTTLE for long periods of time ? Or does she just use it at slower speeds.
