Reported by killerbee on Today at 4:39pm for the following reason: I have the following challenging problem: It all happened a week ago while I was riding the bike. Suddenly, at the red traffic light, the engine died. Then I started it again and rode 50 meters before it stopped again. I restarted by giving a lot of gas and rode once more for 10 meters before it died again. And since then it refuses to start. In my backyard I opened the Carb and cleaned it ( it was full with tiny metal scales). I then installed a new cylinder head including new valves, new gaskets, new piston and new rings, and a new spark. I also checked the ignition coil and battery. Then I put new engine oil (I noticed that the old engine oil was full with little metal pieces). The metal pieces came from an incident that I had some time before: well, three months ago I had a meltdown of the spark, got a hole in the piston and in the valve. So back then I renewed everything and the bike rode perfect till a week ago when the bike died at the red traffic light .
again: The carburator is clean. There is no vacuum leak. The ignition coil + Battery+spark are goed. The piston en rings are new. The cylinder head is new. The valves are adjusted. But I still cannot get the scooter to start (see video: . kan somebody help?

Try taking the Vacuum line off the PETCOCK and holding it and pouring a teaspoon of gas STRAIGHT down the INTAKE then reconnect the Vacuum line and try starting it. If it is getting spark and has descent compression it will FIRE at least once and maybe even start and die. But that will tell us a couple of things, IF it gas is being sucked into the intake and that the SPARK PLUG is firing. If it DOES NOT Fire then Take the SPARK PLUG out and Hold it on the VALVE COVER and see if it has a nice blue spark. Also when you take the SPARK PLUG OUT see if it is wet from gas.
After that and still no go I would check your timing Bring the Piston up to Top Dead Center and see if the CAM SPROCKET Lines up good with the two little holes even with the top of the HEAD and THEN CHECK your FLYWHEEL and see where the POINTER on the CASE IS POINTING on the FLYWHEEL TIMING MARKS.
