My scooter has been running great with no problems. I have a gy6 150. Just now I'm sitting at a light and it stalls. It was idling fine now what? I wonder if someone could give me some pointers?

I just realized I overfilled the oil and I think it has something to do with it. I didn't drive it very far. I wonder what the problem may be. If someone could help that would be great!

Did it stall and not go anymore? Or just a short hesitation and go again?

Could be many things if it does not start, the fuel filter could be clogged, the spark plug boot cap came off the plug, you hit the killswitch by mistake. Valves could be tight and you will have to wait till it cools off before it may start again(if it does do not let it idle low otherwise it will die again, at stop lights or whenever you stop keep the rpms up a little higher. It's not the fuel filter, I replaced that already. It's not the kill switch either, because it won't start even with kill switch on

Did you check your spark plug boot, sometimes they pop off because there is not enough slack in the coil wire and the up and down pulls the boot off the plug. If it is on then check for spark, take the plug out or if you have a spare just take the boot cap off and stick the spare in and hold it against the valve cover or motor(NOT THE FRAME) and crank it and see if it has a nice blue spark. It was a bad ignition kill switch. I bypassed the kill switch and it fired right up. Thanks for the info.

I am betting you hit the killswitch, Hey bud it happens to the best of us. I pulled out of my garage and was going down the street and my neighbor waved me down I pulled over and shut the trike off. And I happen to swipe my hand on the grip and accidently hit the killswitch. After we finished talking turned the key on and it just cranked and cranked then the light went on upstairs and hit the killswitch and VROOOOOOM. I said a couple of words to myself(HAHA). Alleyoop
