hi guys i am new to the forums been thinking of making my scooter dc its a 50cc gy6 clone of a sunny, i have search guides but keep ending up with nothing are there any benefits of doing this. they way i was thinking of is a dc fire stator. reason why i want to do some mods but it seem my ac stator will not give out a enough power with out killing my battery

What you need is a stator with more poles so it produces electricity for more hookup ups. Also if your battery is not charging it is probably a bad Regulator/Rectifier and not your stator. A good R/R should pump out over 14+ volts when your riding if the stator is not toast.
Take mine as an example everything is RUN OFF THE BATTERY EXCEPT the CDI. All lights and gauges run off the Battery. So my stator is just feeding the R/R to charge the battery also it feeds the AC CDI. At idle my battery is charging at 14.5 and stays that way even at high revs. Alleyoop

well thanks for the reply's but i am a idiot some how the connections got loose on the battery. that would by why i had some problems starting up lol
