Seems more responsive for the first few miles. As she runs awhile it doesnt seem to have the same crispness in acceleration. Any ideas? Only 150 miles on it. Carb cleaned, valves adjusted, NGK installed. It doesnt run bad at all, just not as zippy.

Are you burning premium fuel? Preferably some without ethanol

Once they get hot any motor will loose some UMPH that is normal.

My choices are 93 with ethenol or 91 without. WIll 91 be enough?

In the first few miles the enrichener (choke) is on. Once it kicks off it will be less responsive. It's normal.

Maybe put a washer in the hole to keep it open a hair?
