Alright so my exhaust header pipe snapped since it was very old and rusty... I orederd a new exhaust head pipe a muffler gasket and the gasket for the other end... www.flickr.com/photos/goodharbor/5193171585/^ Thats how the gasket is right now in my scooter ^ (just got that image of google, not mine) Do i need to remove this old one, and replace it with the new one i ordered? or can i just leave that one in there? If so ill just save the new one in-case this one goes bad.... Sorry if its a dumb question, i dont have any real mechanical experience just trying to save some $ and do it myself... Thanks in advance! Heres the new one i bought - www.partsforscooters.com/190-51-Premium-Metal-Exhaust-Gasket

When ever you take the header pipe off you are always better off to put on a new gasket. If the use the old one that was on there it will probably leak because it is already squished down . Alleyoop

I had a gasket like that in my 150 in the original head. I had the pipe off a few times without problems going back. Just to be on the safe side though, leave that one in and buy a gasket that goes outside and around the studs. Getting that old one out and replacing it is a royal pain.

Mine uses the 30mm round gasket..Put a little weather strip on it, cram it in the head, let it tack dry, Should work out if ya have a 30mm exhaust port
