I have a 50cc peace sports scooter with what I believe is the gy6. Well I took it to work the other day and heard a knocking. After checking the dipstick I noticed I need oil, there was nothing on the dipstick. After filling it up and running it a little there was no more knocking. Took it out the next day again and no oil. The leak was off the bottom of my belt housing/gearbox. It is not gear oil as that was full and I can smell the difference. After taking the belt housing cover off there was definately oil in it but I cant find where the leak is. Any advice or ideas?

Yes, it is most likely your CRANK OIL seal you will need to take the Variator off and replace the seal piece of cake to fix. Alleyoop

So this is what is leaking it appears, the bearing or seal around the crank shaft has a minor leak, I put 5w instead of 10w in it last night to get it home so that might be why it completely drained. Now how do I fix that. Also, after reassembling everything it feels like the power isn't being fully delivered to the wheel. It accelerates a little slower and feels jumpy (The feeling you would get in a manual car when you hit the clutch to shift.)

You have to get the seal out just pick at it but try not to scratch around the case and just pull it out. You can get seals at SCRAPPY DOGS.
Reason the scoot is not moving so good is the OIL is on the belt and the pulleys and it is slipping I know cause it happened to me. So when you get the new seal make sure you clean the belt and the pulleys and get that oil off. Alleyoop

Its been recommended by car mechanics that when belts get contaminated with fluids to just replace them. Might just get another belt.
