Leave it alone and ride. If it doesn't show up on a video it's way too minor to worry about. If you really have to know how minor find someone with a dial indicator and a base to check the runout. Then you'll probably find out it's well within tolerance.

When i had my CVT covere off i spun the back wheel and saw a slight wobble in the clutch. Tried to video it but it doesnt show up but its there. What causes that on a new scoot? Would simply replacing it with a new one solve the problem?? I had the same thing on the OE and a aftermarket Bell. I just ride it. will look into it further once the weather gets to nasty.

What causes this? It just slides onto the shaft right?

Is there a spec for run out? I doesn't appear to be a precision instrument. How bad is it, can you estimate?

I may be wrong about this but what looks strange to me in the video is that the belt rides up and down in the variator but doesn't look like it's sinking down into the clutch. It always looked much more pronounced on my 150 and 250 when I had them open. Is the belt dropping down as RPMs increase?

What causes this? It just slides onto the shaft right? a bent shaft, possibly bearings if there any, out of round parts or just plain old Chinese quality control, which would also be part of balancing. of which if you modify your own parts can a positive effect on performance if you know what your doing... maybe. defy true for engine parts.

KZ, I again looked at it and your RIGHT, it appears that the belt is not dropping down enough on the Clutch pulley. I know on many others even on mine it is very pronounced when it the belt climbs up the variator and pulls the clutch pulley apart the belt is pretty low. Alleyoop
