I put it on today. I was planning on waiting but i got my new gram scale today and decided to weigh some of the weights I had since the lettering is beginning to wear off and discovered i had 5 six gram wights and one 5 gram in the box which meant that i had an oddball on my scoot! So i took it off and put all 5gr rollers in.
First impression. Its dark so i cant see the rpms but they seem pretty close to the stock variator. One thing that is quite clear is that midrange acceleration lag and rpm drop I experienced between 20-30 is gone. Its a smoother steady pull. Usually my rpms would hang around 7500 then at around 20ish it would drop mid to upper 6000 rpms. I didnt hear that rpm drop with the new variator and didint feel like i was waiting for the rpms to ramp up and begin pulling again. Top speed is about the same (im hitting 45 anyway and i wasnt looking for more)
Good product for 25.00 compared to some Ive seen out there!
Next I will try 5gram sliders and see how it performs. So far the 25.00 is well spent.

Sliders are a way to "mimick" some of the effect of a performance variator on our scoots and using them on a real performance variator only enhances that ability.
