actually, it was a combo of several diffrent things, the a/f mixture screw was turned out WAY too far, leaned it out a bit and the stator drive shaft has the teeth grinded down... only a 4 hour fix now it runs like a champ! thanks again!

If that is what they told you they pulled the wool over your eyes. The stator drive shaft is the crankshaft and there are NO TEETH on the crankshaft to drive the stator as a matter of fact the STATOR is stationary BOLTED to the CASE it does not move. What does rotate is the Flywheel which is held on in the right position by a woodruff key and then a bolt that screws onto the crankshaft. Just so your know some of us were born late but not yesterday if you get my drift. Alleyoop
