Have to see the way the front end is put together the Current Reverse Trikes The front end is not ready for prime time. The Reverse Trikes that they are currently selling are dangerous and unstable. I do not have one but have heard from many about all their troubles and problems with the front ends. Few guys were nice enough to even put up Videos of their the front end problems and pictures. That would be perfect to put the 150 out of my crashed scooter in. A 50 doesn't need a license around here. 9 out of 10 can't tell the difference either.

Unfortunately the EPA only tests for the emissions the motors put out. If they actually rode them to test them out they would fail right off the bat. Every one once the buyer gets it delivered has to align the front end. And the problem is the buyer has to do it himself no shop will even attempt to do it. On one guy he came back onto his driveway and slow and when he made the turn onto his driveway it tipped over on him and his neighbor had to pick up the trike to free him. Also the Radius to make a turn is very wide, one guy came to a cross street and made the turn and almost ran into the cars coming down the street. On a not smooth road forget it the front is all over the place and hard to hold it trying to go straight. The whole front end on them is put together pretty flimsy, one guy the A joint that connects to the front frame the weld broke talk about one wheel wobbling. Also they just have a TUBE top and bottom with just a bolt going through the tube holding the Arm that the wheel is attached so it moves up and down. That gets play real quick and you have the front wheels shimmy so bad it almost shakes your arms off holding the handlebar. Just to name a few things that the guys have videoed and pics.
Ice Bear Sold them for only about 6 months and due to the complaints and problems they dropped them and no longer sell them. Alleyoop

You mean to tell me there is no structure or suspension testing of any kind??? Then how do they pass say new York state annual inspections? They go over everything

I don't know that they are tested. Here in Illinois no testing is done on any none car vehicle all they make sure is that you have turn signals and stop lights, headlights and horn and you pass the written exam rules of the road and pass the driving test everything else NADA. Alleyoop

Yea they are pretty cool especially some of the 300cc, they look really nice the back is like one piece with built in luggage on both sides and the back opens up like a trunk really cool. But that front end is a killer Image no bushings or bearings like on a car. I had some pics see if I can find them and if so will put them up of the front end. Alleyoop

I do know the front end geometry is real special on them. The outside wheel in a turn has to turn less than the inside wheel, and caster/camber has to be perfect to handle. The real spider is supposed to be a dream to ride, but bad on gas mileage. It might be a real project to rework the front end with bushings and the right geometry.
