Don't forget there is some play the only way the FLYWHEEL is off is if the WOODRUFF key is damaged. Alleyoop
Line up the TWO LINES ON THE CAM SPROCKET with the TOP of the head. Then LOOK at the flywheel and see where the case ponter is pointing at on the Flywheel marks. If it is CLOSE to the LINE BEFORE the "T" OR ON THE "T" your fine. Alleyoop

Sorry for being a noob but from my engines point of view does it look like it was timed differently? then most 157qmj? Because I check the piston at TDC and it has stayed at that mark for ever.

NO mine is a 157QMJ and it is timed before the 1st line before the "T". But ALL I am saying is the first pictures of your cam sprocket you did not have the HOLES aligned with the top of the head you were off there. So if you aligned them I would bet the TIMING mark will be CLOSER THE FIRST LINE BEFORE THE "T".

And where is the timing mark pointing to when it is in that position?

Yes....you should ...uh...torque them... Really that's the best policy. You are over thinking the timing. Alley is spot on about this. Read this over, it may clear up of some of your doubts. Rich
