Took apart my Deni carb to thoroughly clean it and saw this and Ive not seen this before on other CVK cards. I did remove the screws and theres a round rubber disk/diaphram underneath and a 1 inch long spring that compresses between the round housing and the disk.

That is the ACV valve so it does not run lean when you let go of the throttle and the butterfly closes. Alleyoop

How does it move? There appears to be no linkage. The spring maybe mean vacuum but how?
