Neighbors? Heck Id move in a harley with strait pipes, put a devil patch on the back of your jacket and then see what they say.
As for my exhaust....they can move if they dont like it.

Agree with most of the above except the octane. I would prefer a non ethenol at a lower octane if need be. I run 91 non ethenol. Talk about avoiding fuel issues!
I have found no better performance with an upgraded coil or cdi
I use 40w synthetic. I think 50 is a bit taxing on the little oil pump.

All we have is an EXXON and Chevron here. O buy the unbranded non ethenol anyway.

I have had 2 trouble free China scoots and both have over 5000 miles. One had been wrecked 3 times (once by me) and still runs like a top. Ones a TaoTAo the other a BMS -ZNEN. I have even fiddles in those places too and runs just fine. Both are a helluva lot sexier too than anything Japan puts out.

Any long term updates? Most have great things to say initially but havent seen much after riding them awhile. Matter of fact they seem to disappear from forums?

Just rout it however its the easiest. Its going to work fine no matter how you place it. The cable is still the same length it always was. As long as it gets to the carb and throttle its fine.

Mine snapped too. I just removed the inner cable and measured them together..75 in and i have a 50cc but a large frame but Ill be damned if i remove 20 panels to replace it. Mine will go thru the front fairing, accross the floorboard and into the vent under the seat.
