On your first set of pics the left picture has a black smudge on the slider. That should be facing up. Generally the Koso logo is on the correct spot and that faces up. The circled slider pic is the way you drop it in. The longer flat side goes against the center.

Length: 73.8 THUNDER Width: 26.4 Height: 40.7
Length: 67.32 TaoTao T3 Width: 30.7 Height:51.57 (Seat Height 29.9)
Length: 73.4 BMS Width: 27.0 Height: 46.2
SO Im looking at the Thunder and trying to gauge its size. Compared to my BMS its pretty darn close on paper. Im conserned because my T3 was too small for me but the measurement they list for the T3 dont make sense if my BMS that i now have is much bulkier all around. I measured my BMS and have no idea hoy they get these lengths, widths and heights. My measurements were all shorter than specs list. For example the width is listed as 27in but my measurement accross the front faring is 21 and even if I measure the widest point from end to end of the handlebars its only 23in. So im confused.
Favor from Thunder owners....can you measure the width at the widest part of the front faring, total length and handle bar height? Thanks!!

Ditch the CDI. No performance increase whatsoever. Same with the orange coils too. Stock ignition parts work fine except the stock plug. Change that.

Just periodically check the torque. Quicker than an oil change.

So far it looks to be about 100 bucks cheaper than other places.

Just wondering if its better protection against the item and bad customer service these scooter companies are known for.

Regeular inspection and cleaning will allow you to check for flat spots. Rollers wear much faster than sliders.

Its a balancing act. While 7000-7500 is optimum for accelerating it some times means higher rpms on the top end cruising MPH. The downside to low rpm acceleration is overworking the motor. Id say around 6000-6500.

The ones Ive allways gotten with performance variators are temporary and designed to dial in a weight. I usually get 9 weights included and they are sets of 3 in different sizes.

If they were not the stock rollers and sombody put them in aftermarket they were proabaly the ones that you use to dial in a weight and are not meant to be used. If they did come stock then you got some junk rollers.

They are supposed to be a little noisy. I set mine at .002. If i cant slide a .003 in then Im happy with the setting. .003 is much noisier than .002
