generally, what weight roller comes standard in 139qmb? looking to get new ones since they rattle a bit and maybe get lighter ones for better takeoff.

There is no standard. My TaoTao came with 5.5 gr and my BMS came with 5s. Convert to sliders once you weigh yours.
IMO forget about any mods other than CVT. Thats the only worthwhile mod to do. A Koso variator under 30 bucks and a set of sliders is like gold. I have tried and removed every other snake oil mod there is and kept the CVT mods.

checked my weights today. flat spot galore. coated em with silicone spray to get a little more out of em until i can weigh em and order more. also may change my belt from the gates to my cheapie qijiang belt from scrappy. the gates is shedding alot of dust and is getting narrow.

You ride a Chinese scooter in MI...they are gonna look at you funny anyway It's becoming quite popular, actually. I saw at least three scooters in a two mile radius yesterday. I even pulled over to ask one of the other riders how many cc's she was running (bad move)...she was smoking, and obviously stoned. I MEAN SHE WAS WRECKED. it was a 50cc, but my 50 smoked hers..then again, I'm glad she wasn't going very fast, because I wanted to get away from her as fast as humanly possible! Stranger danger, kids. On topic though: I'm not sure there is a standard really. Personally I wonder what I'm running. I've had a cheap Chinese belt on for well over 2500 miles now and it still works. Never replaced it. As for my weights and variator, I don't think I need to replace them. Is there some rule of thumb as to when you have to replace them?

Regeular inspection and cleaning will allow you to check for flat spots. Rollers wear much faster than sliders.
