My header nuts came loose. Will the blue loctite work with the heat from the exhaust?

Just periodically check the torque. Quicker than an oil change.

they got a hi temp blue, but not at auto zone/advance/checker/oreillys I can check periodically, but i hate jacking it up, and crawling underneath, especially with only one leg. But, that's how i did find it originally thanx

I researched this once, neither of them will handle exhaust side temps. I'd say Pete's suggestion was the best.

What's the matter with a couple of new lock washers?... if your old ones are flattened or out of shape, just try a couple of new ones. Check for snugness at each oil change.....have never found mine to work loose.

davec, cyborg and rks are right. find some sort of lock washer. it'll be cheaper than loctite and probably more practical. If you do decide to go with threadlocker anyways use permatex brand. it's just as good as loctite but generally less expensive
