I took my scooter yesterday for a very long ride including highway and so far so good. I don't have the socket to open the clutch assembly but as long as it works as it work now I won't touch it.
I noticed a different problem now when going on high speeds or have the throttle push a lot to get to high speed (above 60 mph) the engine start chocking. I suspect that the Carburetor the shop put in is not of the right one or it wasn't tuned correctly.
Any suggestions? (I don't trust the shop at all at this point)
Regards,
David

Well that sounds to me like the fuel pump isn't getting enough fuel to the carb. Check the vac lines because any vac leak could affect the fuel pump. Is your filter good? Is the carb cleaned especially the float valve? How about the diaphragm? It has to pull the needle up. Rich

Thanks Alleyoop.
Do I need to take out the plastics to get to that screw?
Is there an easier way?

David

If you can get your hands in there and a small 90 degree screwdriver you can do it without taking plastics off. Alleyoop
