So I got the part!! :] Will be putting it in tonight hopefully. I just got evicted and things have been hectic but, I should be able to borrow the tools later tonight and will likely be working on it until I can get it all back together. :]

So how can I be sure I found the right part? :/
And also.... No one has ever worked on my scooter before? :/ I bought it brand new, after someone assembled it here? Didn't even get a bill of sale, it was a pain in the butt to register. But zero miles, pulled the plastic off of her myself. :/ Could someone kicking the kick start too roughly cause this? Maybe the impact of the accident, even though it was only in the front that I was hit?

As soon as I can find a way to make the funds to get the part, order it and then recieve it I will be sure to make sure and follow your instructions. I'll be back..... Maybe a few weeks though, as I dunno when I'll be able to order the part let alone how long shipping is gonna take.

Well, I guess I'll be back on once I can get the money and the part. May take a couple days.... Dunno how long I'll be, but I'll definitely be back here.... Thanks For your help Alleyoop, and Lanternscooter. Once I get this fixed I'll be back for the other issues. And I think I may lurk around these forums from now on. It'd be a good idea for me to try and learn. Talk to you guys soon enough. :]

No didn't already adjust them haha. Found the issue. But not sure what I would call the issue. I have pictures. I don't think I'm going to be able to fix this without money, lmao.

Jonway YY50QT-66 50cc 2013 model year. Well, I got this scooter brand new, 0 miles literally 5 months ago, to the day. I've been horrible at the upkeep, I'll be honest, but realize a bit late how important it is. 5556 miles later, she is not very happy. The symptoms are funky, I hope I am descriptive enough.
So, you put the key in, turn it to the on position, make sure the kill switch is off(in the scooter still startable position) like normal starting stuff. Press the starter button and it turns and turns and tries. Nothing, maybe a quick sputter before dying, VERY lucky to get a start up. The main issue, it seems, was the fuel pet cock. Gasoline would not come out of petcock, but air would travel through the fuel filter(little yellow fuel filter looking thing?) through the hose and up through the gas tank. I have the petcock off the scooter and here next to me. The vacuum valve, the one on the bottom when screwed into the tank in the right position, will not let ANYthing through. Absolutely no air... So this means it's defective right?
So after thinking this, I searched around for solutions on bad fuel petcocks on little scooters and found my self on this forum, saw a solution with a Gas line Connector and a quarter inch brass hose connector, to bypass the petcock issue until I could buy a new one.... WELL... We still are not wanting to start............ Cleaned Air Filter, Cleaned Carb, Replaced spark plug a couple weeks ago and it seemed to run better, stopped dying(I wanna say stalling) mid ride before picking right back up.
Also got hit a while back, front tire and rim and fender got ran over. Front break light has been stuck on since, but the break isn't like stopping unless I actually press on it. Tire is a little wobbly but other wide fixed, and not loose or anything just SLIGHTLY bent, been driving around fine for at least a month and a half since. How would I deal with the break light staying on?
Constant clicking from the front, sounds like the blinker is on but clicking slightly slower and no lights or anything in correlation. Would that be a bad blinker/clicker switch?
So um.... yeah. My job relies on my scooter so I'm a tad stressed with absolutely no monies to fix it and no pay check until I can get it going again....
I'm not quite sure what else I can do here.
Someone told me I should get my valves checked?? (In relation to it not wanting to start) But everyone else is all weary and telling me I don't wanna do that unless I know for a fact that I need to.... So how do I know if this is needed? And what if I don't have that fancy valve adjusty thing? Or a way to get one?
I know I have tons of questions, I wish I hadn't waited until so many issues happened to uh build up, but here I am. Desperate for help! Thanks. I will be trying to surf this forum for more ideas. :/
