Starting.... Running..... Starting after turning off engine...... Going to let it set turned off for an hour and try starting it again (Let it run for a good while before killing and restarting it).
Before, it seemed that after it would run for a while it had a higher likely hood of starting back up. So since I had it running, and the start up was immediate after running for a bit, I feel I should give it some time and see if it still starts up with such ease.
At that point, (if it starts up nicely) then I shall put the body and seat back on, and take her on a short voyage, see if she rides right again, Open the throttle and so on. Will update soon, and thanks again!!!!!

Okay so..... I had it starting.... And then my dad kept messing with the damn screws and now we're not starting again. Battery is getting low.... And then there this spark plug boot..... Would this be causing issues?  |

BUMMER your fuel ratio mixture screw is plugged. You have two options either drill the plug out or get a aftermarket carb. To drill it get a 1/16 drill bit and drill the center NO MORE than 1/8 DEEP then get a pointed screw and screw it in and pull it out.Bummer on the chain tensioner guide. That is now in the crankcase if it is plastic it may get all ground up if metal not good. Alleyoop When I pull this out, am I putting anything back in it?? |

Another note: I switched back to bypassing the fuel petcock till I can buy a new one, because I had thought maybe the issues with the petcock could have been caused possibly by the rocker arm assembly, and it starts then dies immediately, only preferring lower idle setting.
....Getting the drill bits for that plug.

Hahaha. Dang. Okay. Well, I moved back in with the parents, so let me see if my dad has everything for that, he should so...... Will do as instructed and post back soon! Thanks again!
And also!
The tensioner seems to have had a plastic end that is now gone, a long with a small piece of the metal tab it was attached too(?).... Found some weird rubbery thing in there when I was cleaning around and looking for metal chunks from that broken rocker arm assy., the rubbery thing was definitely not attached or in good shape for anything..... Possibly ends of tensioner?? :/

Where that ratio screw should be is a flat brass plug, no groove to adjust the screw, it is smooth and flat with the surface of the carb...  |

So all seemed well for a moment... But that starting issue remains ... It's like picky or something. Really dodgey. When pressing the starter to start it it will try hard, doesn't sound drained or anything the starter sounds right like it's doing what it's supposed to.... But it'll only start via starter sporadicly once or twice, else wise I could sit there trying for an hour and nothing, no start just tryingg.
Kick start seems to have a better effect, only it's still pretty picky. I thought I was just a crappy kicker, and I am, but the people who usually have luck kicking it are also now having issues.
When I do run, it's smooth until I open the throttle all the way... Only getting to like 30-35mph, used to get 40-47mph..(not a huge deal I s'pose)... And it starts stalling. Randomly at top speed. It stalls out till I let off the throttle some, then finally let's me gain speed, only after slowing me down a good 10mph.
Brand new spark plug, brand new rocker arms and bracket, everything looks fine in there. I had to use a soda can for the valves so they're adjusted to there, and the cam looked good. Found some chunks removed them, and lotsa little bits in the oil pan bolt when I changed the oil.
Brake light issues was a melted relay. That relay is unplugged and removed now. Until I can get a new one.
I just don't get it though. :/

So, I'm trying to put this one and for some reason it doesn't want to line up right. I got the right part. But it doesn't really want to go on and I don't want to damage by force........ It just doesn't want to go ALL the way on the cam thingy. Excuse the poor lingo.

So is there anything special aside from lining up the Cam I should worry about while replacing this? I also remember I need to get that chunk out if I can find it. And adjust the valves once it's in. But yeah....
