Hey man thanks for taking the time to point all that out. That was awesome. I actaully found the black.white wire plugged into one of the 4 plug holes. I unplugged it, put into the correct hole on the two port plug and bingo, all is good. Thanks again for your help.

Thank you. i think I found the problem. I identified my system as AC and it looks like I am missing one wire from the small connector of the CDI. I should have two and there is only one. There should be another wire and I do not have a black/white wire plugged into the CDI.

Ok - just bought a brand new taotao 150cc and having a minor problem. It starts fine but will not shut off. Here's what I have done and what I know right now. I have replaced the starter relay, the ignition switch, the CDI and coil and the the inline fuse between the battery and the starter relay. It keeps on running when trying to use the kill switch to shut it off, but, the bike will not start if the kill switch is not in the ON position, telling me the kill switch is ok. The bike is brand new and never been ridden on the street. Another thing I have discovered is that the bike will still run when completely disconnecting the ignition switch at the white plastic terminal that connects the wires that go back towards the engine. I have also discovered that there are two wires that that come out of the bundled wires in the back that go into the stator and that by discconecting either one, it kills the engine. One wire that does this is green/blue stripped and the other is red. Disconnect either one and the motor shuts off. Anybody have any clues about what to check next ? Thanks.
