It was attached to the vent near the top of the carb. The guy I got it from must have switched the lines by accident when he was trying to figure out what was wrong with it. The new CDI and Coil fixed the original problem of very poor spark but the guy fiddling with it added another problem lol.

Well it wasn't the float but it was short of float related. Turned out the gas line was hooked up to the carb wrong. It was basically bypassing the float and just dumping gas into the carb and engine. Runs great now, thanks for the help I wouldn't have notice the line if I wasn't checking the float.

Yes sir that is the line I'm talking about. If the float was sticking open it would flood none stop no? It's only happening when the start button is being pressed.

Hello to everyone
Im new to this board but not new to fixing my own bikes be it motorcycle, moped, or scooter. I recently purchased a Rave 150 which looks like a clone of the Yamaha I think called a Zuma. Either way it didn't run and I noticed it was because the spark was very pour. I got a new CDI and Coil with spark plug cable and cap from Scrappy dog. After mounting it the spark was 10 times better and it started right up first try. Sadly it only ran for about 30 seconds before it died out and now won't restart. Trying to restart it I noticed that gas start pouring out of the airfilter so I took it apart and saw that a line runs from the cylinder head to the airfilter and it from here that all the gas is coming out of. It's clearly getting gas and a strong spark so I don't understand why it's not starting and so much gas is pouring out. I checked the petcock it works fine so it's not that. I thought maybe it was the automatic choke but usually it that situation it will just run with very high rpms. Hopefully one of you fine fellows will be able to help me with this. Thank you in advance for your time and help in this matter.
