Miley34 Or anyone willing to clarify, So in order to use the cheaper fuel pump from oreilly I have to cut the red 12v wire that is on my existing plug, then find the white/yellow ground wire in the harness, then connect these to the new pump? And I disregard the ground wire on my existing plug? Or ground that as well? Any help appreciated I want to save some cash but don't want to fry my ECU! I have a 2009 nps50 ruckus

Maybe a dumb question but was this ECU crash due to the non-OEM fuel pump this guy installed?? I just bought an 09 ruckus with a bad fuel pump and I'd like to save money if possible! But I don't want to fry the ECU.
Only has 500 miles!
