It has gravity feed. Fitting is on the bottom of the tank. When I purchased it, it did have a fuel petcock/valve on it. I've tried to trace down the right one, after the original broke, and it fits, but the lack of fuel. Contemplating just going with a fitting to hose then shut off valve in line along with a fuel filter to carb.
That aside, I'm worried about the electrical system. Last time I tried to work on it, the starter seemed stuck. It kept trying to start even after it ran for a few minutes (via help of starting fluid) and shut off (due to fluid burning off).
Nothing would stop it from running the starter except disconnecting the negative cable. Thinking solenoid, since I had to disconnect the negative to make it stop trying to run the starter.

Was told, and from all the pics I have seen, my Dazon Raider 250cc is a Honda Helix 250cc clone, motor wise.
Here's what I have going on (it's all motor or electrical, I figured maybe you guys could point me in the right direction.)
Key start is very temperamental, I think it is in the kill switch connector side to the CDI box. Pushing on the wires seems to do the trick when it won't start. (I can fix that.) But what kind of CDI is supposed to be there? I bought the buggy without the original, and it seems to be a DC, but I've also found an AC with the same connector types.
Is not getting fuel. I've tried a new fuel petcock, and have 1/4" line running with a fuel filter (lawn mower style, only thing I could find, live in a town of 400, nearest big city is maybe 10-20k population). I was able to get a bit of fuel down to the carb, but the line won't fill completely. Also, it's a new carb from amazon. I can put starting fluid through it (spray through filter side) and it will run until the fluid burns off, then dies. Is it a carb issue or do I need to try a different method of fuel delivery from the tank? Is there anything you guys recommend, thread is 16mm by 1.5mm?
Thanks in advance for your help.
