No one knows anything about how stators work? Isn't this the scooter doc forum or nah?

From what i've read the "performance" ones tend to actually provide a weaker spark than stock.

Hey guys, first post here. I have a scooter with a 139qmb with a 80cc BBK installed. Essentially, my scooter isn't providing power from my stator to my CDI box and not allowing for a spark. I've ordered a 6 coil stator (which was the only one I could find at the time with my 5-wire setup on ebay) and a flywheel puller, but i'm worried that this scooter comes with an 8 coil stator. Will this cause problems for battery charging and running other electrical components? I bought this scoot 2 weeks ago and haven't been able to ride it more than one time cause the stator went out on me. Please help me get her running  |
