I tried both adjustments you suggested and neither really made a difference. I did notice there was a screw missing from the carburetor cover, of course no one around here sells them. My husband told me to just buy a new carburetor. All houses are tights. We'll try draining the fuel and putting fresh in, it's been sitting since last summer.
