I would run the fuel line directly from tank to carb bypassing the vacuum petcock and installing a manual one. Also don’t forget to plug the vacuum port on the carburetor. Those vacuum petcocks are known to fail and keep you guessing. Ah right I see, would there be a particular fuel tap that i would need for it as most of the taps iv seen are mounted in the tank and my one is frame mounted. Thanks for the reply matey |

Hi all,
Iv just bought my boy the above scooter and it doesn't start.
Iv checked for spark and all is good but when I took the plug out it was bone dry.
What I have found is that when I cranked it over with the hose taken from the fuel tap to the carb the fuel trickled out burmt when i blew down the vacuum hose whilst cranking it the fuel flowed better.
Does this sound like a fuel tap issue or am I better off inspecting the carb & cleaning the carb jets.
