I need to remove my Tao Tao Future Champion CY50A VIP 50 Speedometer and Front Handlebar Panels. I have removed every screw apparent on the outside that could be holding them on, but for the life of me, cannot find why they will not come loose.
I have looked for any YouTube Videos that would help to no avail.
Can someone one give me any help with this problem?

I have no interest in removing the EGR system or hoses. It may not be illegal to do so in Michigan (my home state), but it strikes me as environmentally irresponsible. It seems that most people remove such to obtain a few more miles per hour, which is questionable for a 49-50 cc moped unless you are restricted to mopeds due to being too young to qualify for a license to drive anything bigger.

Addendum: Those hoses (1/2" I.D.) seem to be related to EGA system. I think I found where the longer (24") hose goes. There is a 1/2" hose connector on the front of the Cylinder Head Valve Cover. The shorter hose with the inline thing is not long enough to get to that fitting. Here is a picture of where (Red Arrow on picture) I think that hose attaches.

The service manual is useless in regard to the routing of those vacuum hoses... does not address them at all. Nevertheless, I have taken a picture. The picture shows that there are hose clamps on both hoses. Therefore, I am assuming that neither vent to the atmosphere, but are supposed to attach to something. Here is the source of those hanging hoses: I found where perhaps (size of the connection is about right) one of the hoses is supposed to attach... on the very front of the engine, close to the bottom. But I don't know which hose goes there.

Just bought an non-running 2014 ATM50-A1.
I am in the process of attempting to get it running... pervious owner(s) only put 1114 miles on it, so I am hopeful it is not majorly screwed up.
My fist novice question is: There are two large hoses hanging down from the emissions system (I assume) on the Right side of the engine, the do not go anywhere... just hanging. Reading the forums, it seems one of them (the one with the "enlargement" (like a big inline fuel filter) on it is supposed to hang down to vent to the atmosphere. Is that correct? As for the other, I cannot find where it is supposed to attach... would someone please clue me in. Please do not tell me something like: "It connects to the valve cover..." I have no idea what the component parts are, but would find it helpful if you direct me by using Right side, Left side, to the front, to the rear, under the engine, etc.
