thanks Cruiser. I am glad that people are willing to help! and hopefully I can figure this all out. I don't think the woman i bought the scooter from was entirely truthful so I kinda just have to play it by ear until i get a good grasp on the specifics of this scooter. Thanks again!!

Right, I got that, LOL. In front, as in right behind the plastic grill that is located behind the front wheel right? there is nothing behind there except the black metal gas tank. I just replaced the fuel filter today and that was all that was there. Unless it was located higher up where I could not see it. sorry... I know I seem like a moron... it is because when it comes to this bike, I AM  |

well then there is not a radiator on the bike because there is nothing behind the plastic except the gas tank and fuel line. I also did not see a fan but do not know where it would fit because the gas tank is so close to the grill. hmmmmm.... anyways, how do i drain the old coolant and add the new coolant? it seems unnecessary since i apparently do not have a radiator. I am just going to use it in town mostly and maybe some back road driving from time to time, so will my engine be okay if i don't allow it to overheat?

So I recently purchased this scooter for $1000. It only had like 200 miles on it. If is overpaid, i am an idiot, but that's not the point. The point is that i am very unfamiliar with this scooter. this is my 3rd scooter but first that is this big and liquid cooled. First off, where the hell is the radiator? Second there is a fluid container right next to the gas tank, what is it? I am assuming it is the coolant container. There is a very small amount BLUE fluid in it. If this is the coolant container, what can I add because it seems that traveling for about 20 min at approx 55-60mph makes it get a little hot (about 3/4 of the way up). if there is anything else you can tell me about this guy (name: Optimus Prime, lol) then it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much. Also, if i posted in the wrong place, it is because i am a newbie. please point me in the proper direction. Thanks again!!
