Is the above carb worth upgrading to on a new 50cc tao..all stock...just verified my auto-choke is bad...thinking bout just getting this carb instead. Any comments would be appreciated

I have a 50cc Chinese made TAOTAO. Ran great with no issues for the first 400 miles. Now, when I start in the morning I let it warm up a few seconds then take off. After 20 seconds of running it just dies. I then wait a few seconds then it cranks right back up. Once i get out of the driveway and give it throttle it lags. I open up the throttle then release. I repeat this over and over for about 30 to 45 seconds then this seems to clear up the lag issue. Starts running great again. Does this point to the auto-choke or perhaps, do i need to adjust the carb. I would imagine the "break in" period is just about up. Any advice would be appreciated.
