Hey, whenever you decide to start that jewel. I'd put the back wheel on the ground and let it run for at least 5 min. before adjusting the idle. The suspense is killing me.

Hey I was wondering about your technique when you do a "Ninja" style kick start. The proper way to do it is to lightly engage the mechanism roll the motor till you feel some resistance (compression stroke) and then let pressure off the lever reposition it, lightly engage the mechanism before you do you're best Bruce Lee imitation. My point is if you're Bruce Lee on engagement of the mechanism you have a cluster f**k going on in the mechanism, hence yo s**t is broke.

Hate to admit it but mine gave me a crash course in scooter right out of the box. When I got it it would only go 23mph in the flats. It would bog which made me leery of using it in traffic. I wish I had half the money I spent trying to get it to run right. I bought 2 carbs as my OEM didn't have the idle mix screw. Then I started messing with the jets, UNI Pod filter, replaced my OEM filter as I discovered a short cut to removing the OEM filter,I thought, only to find I screwed up the housing. Now I have it running okay but it probably has some untapped potential. In Virginia if you have a scoot that will do more than 35 you have to have tags.

Don't worry, you've got me so rattled I think I'll give up golf. Anybody need some clubs?

It won't hurt your battery. It automatically switches to a very low current maintenance mode. I didn't realize gay people liked golf. You now have me unnerved when I tee off, anyway you're the one I'll blame when I shank one into the woods.

If you give me the name and model # of your charger I'll try to look it up to see if it's okay.

Your scooter's starter pulls the same amount of current from a 9AH battery as it does from a 7AH battery. The larger battery will crank it more times before it dies. The scoot should occasionally be taken on at least 20 minute ride to keep the battery charged. Ride it around the golf course every once in awhile. Try to distract them when they tee off.

All the Chinese scoots share the same parts like the parts are made at a central location and shipped to various assembly points, hence have different manufacturers labels on them. I can assure you Chinese scoots wouln't be as cheap if all the designs were proprietary.

some of that stuff on that website you listed to describe your scoot looked a little hard to beleive for example 3.3hp, 40 mph max speed I'm sorry, I have to call bullsh*t on those claims. I've heard the most a 50cc scoot will make is 3.5 with all the aftermarket upgrades. so I'd be leery of any claims from that site.

Mine was sold with a 7AH battery and they offered a 9AH upgrade. It's the next model up from yours on Greenearth Scooter's. I used to know how to test a battery. It involves putting a known load %50 of your either CA or CCA for 15 seconds and then measuring the voltage left. If it had at least 10v you were good. That being said, I'm sure your's is toast as it won't hold a charge. Never charge a scooter battery with more than 1.5 amps. Mine usually charge in about 2 hrs. I'd do a seach for scooter battery dimensions online. Walmart may have some info online on battery size as they sell them. I'd pretend to buy your model scooter from Greenearth and ask if they offer a 9 AH battery upgrade. Ask for the size and model info.

Hey Shannon from reading your older posts you seem to have alot of trouble with batteries. My OEM batteries last a year or more. I wondered what type of charger your using, what settings your using. The reason I'm saying this is because you should be using a 1.5 amp charger with automatic shut off/ maintenance mode. You can easily damage a small scooter battery with a car charger by giving it too much current or by overcharging it.

One thing you know is you have power to the switch, because one side works. If it's not the lamps and no voltage is at the fixture it's either a relay or wiring from the switch.

Mine has two screws in the bottom near the wheels that have to come out and two more on either side under the handlebar, there's also one about in the middle of the front fairing, but it's a different style than yours. You probably have to take the fairing off to get to the fixture. I'd try to see if just a coulpe of screws on the fixture could be removed to get to the lamp, it seems like they wouldn't make it that hard to get at the thing. I'd look for a way not to have to take it off unless necessary.
