well, it seems to work. nothing burned ;D
I have a question about the main jet: the new carburetor have a #105 main jet, and the old one have #95. should i use the #95 main jet from the old carburetor?

oh, i just noticed the green. opps...
but let's say it was all GREEN, the method to check if it's grounded is like i wrote in the picture?

I uploaded a picture, should i check continuity between these wires and the frame? If the choke is disconnected then there will be no continuity between the wires and frame, because the carburetor is not touching the frame. Thank you for the help Attachments:

I'm a little confused if i'll check the wires that comes out from the choke (while disconnected from the scooter wire harness), against the frame, then i will not get any continuity because the carburetor is not touching the frame or motor. right?

Do you mean the wires that come out from the choke, or the wires that come out from the scooter wire harness?

how do i check if the power wires of the choke are grounded? i need to check continuity between them and what?
What about the idle jet, did see one like that in a scooter carburetor?

did you see a carburetor with an idle jet like that one?
I also noticed that the wires of the auto choke are opposite. when i connect the wire to the scooter (only one way to do it), the green wire from the auto choke is connected to the yellow in the scooter. and the yellow wire from the auto choke is connected to the green wire in the scooter.
Does it matter for the auto choke or the scooter electric system?

Hello, I got a new carburetor, and i have a question about the idle jet. it looks like the idle jet is higher compared to the old carburetor. i uploaded a picture of the new carburetor with the fuel bowl removed, and also a picture of the idle jet itself. This is a picture of my old carburetor with the idle jet is much lower inside. i41.tinypic.com/102qgc0.jpgBtw, it's a 24mm keihin carburetor (CVK). Whay do you think? Thank you. Attachments:
