Thanks for the feedback Alleyoop. I've been getting the sense that the 150cc isn't going to hack it. Odd that Sunny/Kandi doesn't make an intermediate trike (200 or 250), and that on most sites the 300cc is twice the price of the 150cc. (150+150=300...coincidence?) Price wise the 150 was a slam dunk, but at twice the price, I'm now up into the "decent" used Piaggio MP3 range, which I've also been lusting after. It's a shame there are so few out there available. I could of course get the 300cc immediately, but wanted to know a bit more before I make the leap. That and I'd have to have my local service shop (for cars, but they also work on bikes I believe and they strike me as being the sorts that would get a kick out of messing with this trike) to have it "properly" assembled and serviced. So any further advice/feedback would be appreciated.

(posted this in the previous thread before noticing this one...) Hello all, and particularly daddue11. I've got a question (or 3) for you on this and (to the group) the 150cc trike. The listings for both of these trikes indicate a top speed (depending on weight and conditions) of 55 mph. I've been looking at the 150cc trike and wondering if anyone has experience with speed and handling when two people are on it. Both certainly have room for two, but will they really struggle on inclines to maintain 55 mph? (Together my better half and I would weigh around 300 lbs.) My interest in this bike is partially for gas saving commuting (I can avoid most highways if necessary) but also for periodic trips to see the parental units, which involves a very expensive (if you bring a car) ferry boat ride. With a "motorcycle" the round trip cost is nearly $100 less, but there's a 45 minute trip to and from the ferry both ways, some of which might have to be on higher speed roads. (Fortunately mostly flat terrain however.) Is this trike up to that sort of trip? Oh, and are there any dealers in the New England area? I've not found any listings online.
