Since Spring is here and Summer about to begin some parts already going. If their are new or existing members that live in the Shen Valley Va area would like to meet and ride I'm all up for it. There is a ton of nice scenic riding with all the amenities. I went just today for a good ride and wow was it nice out.

I have an idea that if anyone is interested in helping out. I've noticed through searches both online and in bookstores that there is no book on the history of scooters. I would like to take up the challenge of writing such a book. The thing is I would need help and credit would be given to any individual that would like to join me on this venture or give me ideas where I should start. I've gotten some ideas from Earthman and I could use more. I'm going to say that anyone willing to help will get full credit for what information they have given. SO docs anyone wants to help please feel free to express your ideas either here or in a pm to me directly. PJ

Now I know its not a scooter but some of its implements are on todays scooters. I only wished I had the money Jay Leno payed for it. Anyways, the details on this bike we use today for example: center kick-stand, amp meeter, mph guage. I'm sure you can see more but you old schoolers just have to watch it. www.jaylenosgarage.com/video/1958-bsa-dbd34-gold-star/1128526/

Ok today wasn't a good day at all, I lost my favorite hat thanks to mother nature. I got caught up in a rain storm and the Velcro was already warn out so the rain didn't help it any at all as a matter of fact the Velcro let loose and there went my hat by by. So after shedding a few tears I got to think how can I not let this happen again hmmmm? Now I know I can always find a spot in one of the storage compartments and crush it naaaaa then it was in front of my eye's how about hooking it to the carabiner that I use for my key's BINGO Yes I may have lost my favorite hat but the next one will be hooked to my keys and then this shouldn't happen again. Give it a try guy's I know most of us wear hats and have no place to put them hookem to the keys so at least you know where your hat is cause your key's will be with it !!!!!!

When I am at a dead stop and get the green to go I head a vibration coming from the rear sounds like when your driving a stick shift in a truck and you don't add enough of gas with the throttle and you get that distinctive noise coming from the rear end. Could this be that I need a new belt cause its only a few months old.
