thankyou very much for all your help yesterday i got round to changing the stators and it now works perfect i was told that changing the stator i would need a pulling tool and syms have sperate ones to other scooters but instead we used a good old screw driver and a hammer it worked just as well and best thing was i didnt have to pay a penny. once again thankyou very much

my bike it has 1 yellow 1 pink and one blue/yellow. and alleyoop i shall test it later.

thanks i havenow connected all the wires but now im finding the engine wont start without a battery

i have put my new engne in to my sym jet and now got the engine runningbut on this engines generator thing it has 4 wires which are white, yellow, blue/yellow and a black/red one and my bike it self just has 3 that are yellow, pink and blue/yelow, can anybody give me an idea how i should go about connecting them up please. many thanks. martin  |
