Hey! Thanks much. I got a message from aileronjack and thanked him. I need to know that to finish long overdue PDI items.
However, right now my main problem is how to adjust the spring loaded shifter. It looks like it is turned too far away from the cable bracket. (ie. more tyoward the 2 o'clock position)
Someone on a thread that I lost mentioned a nut under that unit which could be loosened and the unit lifted and turned slightly back toward the cable holder. I'm nost sure that I see a nut under there that would allow that. (All cable adjustments have failed.) I have reverse disconnected for the present and the scooter runs smoothly in forward.
I don't know whether it was the new clutch that I mentioned, heavier slider weights or just disconnecting the reverse.
Oh the trials and tribulations!
Again, thanks for your interest and passing on my body inquiries.

Hey Alleyoop! Thanks much! I have a new clutch that I will install when my parts order arrives. I believe my scooter is an -09. If you come across any data about the best way to take the body off this model, I would appreciate knowing about it.
Thanks again!

Did you solve the problem of the missing bearing? If so, where can I find some sort of schematic and specs for fixing the problem. I talked to you on another blog some time ago. I am putting 15.5 gm slide weights in. They should be here this afternoon. I was told (I don't know how it works!) that the heavier weights would help the shifting process.
