Hey all! I got a few questions for ya. Im picking up a new scooter withing the next week or 2 and have a few choices. I can pick up a Ruckus clone for a killer deal, then put a 150 gy6 in there this winter and have a project. i got to talking to a few people and thought of a few other bikes I can most likely swing. Im thinking maybe a: 1. Hammer Head La Vita 2.Genuine Stella 3. Genuine Rattler 4. Genuine Rough House Only cons would be a $10-15 a month insurance jump and a tad higher payment if I get a 150. But if Im dropping 1k+ on a bike, Im not going to do any thing too crazy too it. I really like that Ruck clone (why I dont know lol) and also really like the looks of the La Vita. The La Vita and the Ruck clone are from the same dealer.
But back to topic, what do y'all recommend I get? Probably a daily commuter, driven by a high school kid who can turn a wrench. Planning on doing a few scooter camping trips this year but I am planning to keep my Roketa for that and as a back up/daily rider. But I would still like to take this bike on trips. Storage is not big concern for me but the more the better. Performance is key here. I need something that has some boogie with out my putting a BBK on (at least for now.......) and spending some $$ to get it running 55 or so MPH with quick acceleration. But I have all winter to get it perfectly tuned. Quality is a important but I can skimp a tad on it (people who have seen my Aero know that). Reliability is a biggy though. I can fix it on the side of the road but I dont really want too. I need it to be able to start every morning. I figure if I keep it in tip-top shape Ill have no worries.
Thanks for your opinions!
