Ok, I drained the gas, put new gas in from BP and added some Stabil to it. However, I added the Stabil first-which was probably stupid. It sounded like it wanted to start for a second and now just cranks over. I took the spark plug out and checked for spark with it in the wire and it has spark. When I crank it over, it does not seem to be getting any fuel into the filter (the white translucent one).
I don't know what to do and it is driving me nuts! I hope I also didn't strip the plug socket. I just don't know what to do! Someone please help me! Arghhhh!

Man, Thank you for your responses! I was wondering if that fuel/carb cleaner had something to do with it. I will drain the tank and put new fuel in it, and see where I am at. What is the easiest way to drain all that fuel? Ok, that was a silly question! I was just so frustrated after yesterday. Drained the fuel and now on the way to get some gas and see what happens!

Ok, I am so frustrated right now. I am usually very calm. I got my Dash 50cc from Green Earth Scooters .com. (3 weeks old may-be). Did a full PDI, changed engine oil and gear oil, and switched the spark plug to an NGK(even though their site says they come with an NGK plug). So it was fine and scooting happily for the first week or so. Then I noticed when I was cruising with a more open throttle, it bogged down. I talked to them about it and they said to clean the carb. I was going to get to it the next weekend. I filled the tank up at BP with premium and added full/carb cleaner to the tank. I got about a mile away and it dies. WOuld start right up, then die. So I took the carb apart and cleaned it out-twice to make sure all was good. Put it back on, it dies after starting for a second. AND! gas was leaking out of the side l shaped hose. So I take it back apart to make sure the float was good. It was good, and it still leaked gas out of the hose. So I took it to a local scoot mechanic. He said my carb was bad, or rather the diaphram was bad and causing the fuel to leak and over fill like that. I bought a carb from him for $40 and put it on when I got home. No more gas leak out of the side....BUT, it dies again after starting. Did that a few times, and now it won't start at all! I even changed the plug again. I just don't understand and am getting very frustrated and angry actually. I don't usually even get angry at anything, but this has me feeling VERY frustrated. Can someone please give me advice on what to do!!!!? It would be greatly appreciated! Also, my email is ikabaud22@yahoo.com if you want to reply there. I'll check here as well though. Man, I need to get my scooter back on the road. Is this common for a new scooter? Thanks, Tim
