Right on Bro!! Not only rain, mud, snow but how a piece of rock that happens to fly in there. If it was so detrimental to have that much cooling they would open the Variator side and Clutch side and put on a mesh grill to keep objects from getting picked up and thrown in there. Some have done just that and put screen mesh over the cutouts to keep objects bigger than dirt out. But fully open like that I for one do not think it is a good idea and I think crap will happen sooner or later. my .03 worth Alleyoop Thats true guys. This was one of the scooters I built before and later sold it to a customer. But you right; when I had it, I only rode it when it was dry, and not raining. I never did have any problems with it getting rocks in it. But the suggestion and comment is more than respected.

Hey guys I need your help. You see I made my wife a deal. I told her she could have my 2009 Lifan 150cc scooter if I could buy a 2008 Roketa MC-54-250B. My wife is new to riding, and when I started teaching her we found out the darn thing is too tall. Now I figure I've got a few choices. Sell her scooter and buy her a Trike, lower her scooter, or break both her legs and have'em surgically stretched. I don't really have the funds for a Trike right now, and she's a little hesitant about the surgery, so I guess it's lower the scoot. Anyone have a clue about the best way to do this? Should I shave down the seat? Lower the front forks? Let the air out of both tires and tell her to ride on the rims? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thats easy, just get soe lowering brackets: here... check these guys out scooterchromeparts.com/#/lowering-brackets/4544445575. I will be buying me a set for my scooter this summer. This will drop your scooter 1-1/2 lower. You would have to lower the front forks or suspension, to level the scooter. Thanks, Melazza

Check out this new trick CVT cover, well not really a cover. We call it the AnkleBiter. It is machined from aluminum, and the backing plate hides the ugly castings of the case. It is for the 150cc long case. Let me know what you guys think, it is available on my website. Nice job, I got to purchase one at scooterchromeparts.com website last summer. And did something similar to what you did. These guys have lots of chrome parts for gy6 150cc models. Check it out, hope you like it. Thanks Melazza Attachments:
