I will try this out tomorrow. It is getting too dark and cold to do this outside (no room in garage lol). Thanks SO much for the help. I can't afford to get a new carb nor are there any service places near where I am. I will let you know how it goes. ^_^

Okay...the manual had said to use a higher octane, so I got confused. The manual was not written by somebody with good use of the English language. So, after I drain it, what do I refill it with?

So, the plug is covering the screw? If I manage to get the it out, am I draining the carb so as to fill it with the higher octane fuel?

lol...I'm too slow. Found it...looks like a plug. Also...this looks odd to me. I can see quite clearly through this tube.

Okay...the hoses didn't have any holes. I am double-checking the areas you have pointed out. The carb up close looks like it only has screws. Here is a pic of right side as sitting on scooter:

Hello, I have recently bought an Ice Bear 50cc Trike (http://www.megamotormadness.com/product/the-mini-cruzzer-50cc-trike#pr-tab1). I have no clue about how to maintain one of these. I don't even know where the fuel filter is and I need to check it because the trike won't go. The thing starts, but when I hit the throttle the engine shuts off. The electrical system is still on, but not the engine. The battery was tested and is good. I was told to check the carburetor as well, but I don't know how to do that either. Would somebody be able to explain in really plain terms where those things are on this trike and how to get to them? Pictures would be great, if possible. This is my only means of transportation and I really need to figure out how to maintain it properly. ^^;
