I have a 50cc longbo gy6 4t (chinese scooter) I bought it not to long ago and put a new battery in it, because the service man in my area said i didn't have the correct battery, so after installing ive had nothing but wiring issues. Im not sure if its the ground or what. Heck the wiring on these are so backwards. (not having a digital multimeter isn't helping) But i went to get fuel earlier, and once i removed the fuel cap, there was smoke coming from inside my fuel tank that smelt like burnt wires, also the connector from my key switch is shorting out or getting to much power (Smoking at the connector) Is there some way to trouble shoot this? I would rather do it myself so I can learn.
