[img src=" i1270.photobucket.com/albums/jj610/hudsonlee/vrspic_zpsc4515a1c.jpg" src="http:// " alt=" "] My fuel tank vents into the canister. The hose that is suppose to go to the intake manifold was already unhooked and tucked away hiding. Question is , i have a hose that connects from one of the vacuum lines on the air cut off valve to the intake manifold. Could this be right? Could this be wrong? I cant seem to get clear info from the service manual.

My hoses on my scooter seems to have a little different routing. #1: goes from tank to the large canister. #2: goes from checkvalve to airbox. #3: It was dangling loose but goes from checkvalve to what looks like it was just hooked to carb bowl drain? It says its supposed to be hooked up to intake manifold.
Bottom line is plug em up and vent the tank ?
I wounder if i have my acv hooked right. I have 3 nipples on it. The 1 that is lower and points straight out to the letf side loops back to the carb throat were the carb slide is located. I can see from pics that one is ok i think.
2nd one points left and back a little bit . i have it hooking up to the nipple on the intake manifold. I think this is right but do not know for sure.
The 3rd one points right and goes to the fuel pet cock valve. I know that one is right.
Can you shed some light?

I sprayed some carb cleaner in the ACV and noticed a difference right away. Rich, you were spot on buddy. I'm going to look at all the items listed also.
I know a guy that's thinking of un-hooking the VRS. I know,i think he could be out of hes mind. Would the engine perform better and would he have to re-jet the carb or do any other mods. I think he has the stock (#100)jet in their right now.

Good sugestions, I will work on those items during the week. I will post results as i try them. Tinkering on this is fun, trouble shooting can be very rewarding. Do any of you have any good contacts for parts? I look on e-bay at parts now and then. My honda dealer seems to be able to still get some parts, prob. very limited.

You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose, but you cant pick your friends nose.
I have a 85 150 elite with 14,000 miles on it and i have had it for about 10 years.
It has been a lot of fun.
I am having a hell of a time getting a pick on here.
