Noticed how clean everything is--between the mud holes and the blowing sand cant keep it clean (my shop either) he must have a great cleaning service--lol

tried it on both gears with same results--looks like inside gear puts chain at slight angle-tensioner still at max even on inside gear-got engine on bench now going to replace chain and chain guides to eliminate all possibility's (tensioner is new)

chain jumps off crank gear-- put back on may run 5 min or 30 min never know how long it will stay on then comes off crank gear and of course it dies

Thanks jct842 when a get a chance to tear it down i can see if timing gear on crank is ok-all ready have new timing chain just need to get busy i guess  |

also checked head and cylinder to be sure they they whe same height as old one -they were identical

Thanks a bunch guys---it just keeps jumpimg time--tensioner is at max (new tensioner) chain still lose--Stretched chain?? =already did top end rebuild (cylinder--head with big valves--piston and rings)hope chain cures timing jumping--will see

what a dummy i am forgot the most important part---gy6 150--- looked at alleys sneaky chain replacement only works on the 250-- from what i can find out looks like have to split case sure am dreading that  |

how can i take a link out of timing chain with it still around crank shaft-do they make a master link for timing chain i can get link out but getting it back together will be hard trying to brad it back  |

no play in fly wheel jumps off gear on crank-tensioner is going all the way down to its limit--just did top end rebuild -new head complete with every thing-new cylinder,piston and rings ran great for 2 days then started this jumping timing  |

got to buy me a impact wrench tomorrow-to get varactor nut off -i need one anyway -will check woodruff key then chain is proably the answer new tensioner extends all the way down

i have a twister z150r go cart (gy6 engine) keeps jumping timing--replaced tensioner-no help- will run 5-30min then jumps again chain looks ok of course cant tell if streched==tensioner is all the way down cant tell if gear on crank is ok but from what i can tell looks ok --help please--ps is varator nut turn clockwise to remove or counter clockwise.
